A large Scottish Local Authority, (City of Edinburgh Council)
A large Scottish Local Authority, (City of Edinburgh Council), had started a major review of their HR function with a view to moving to a shared service support and Business partner Model. Again working alongside Orion Partners, Wishart Consultancy provided consultancy support to this significant HR reorganisation including: - Organisational and process design, job redesign, project planning and scenario training.
- A project plan for shared service implementation
- Expertise for integrating best practice across all project streams including the HR technology stream
- Strong challenge to their time scales and methods of working.
- Role modelled the types of behaviours required in an HR Business Partner role and personally coached and supported the in-house project manager who has subsequently delivered phase 1 of the project on time and budget.
