Team Leadership & Team Building
Definition Team leadership is defined as having a clear understanding of one’s own behaviour needs and motives and being self assured through self awareness. A Team Leader learns from experience and from the views of others by seeking and using feedback. Through gaining self understanding a team leader understands the needs of others and the needs of the organisation. It is about defining what needs to be done with resolve, commitment and a sense of self belief.
Team building is more than providing basic training or offering strategies for collaboration.It is about communication skills, sharing visions, discovering and accepting different mental models and recognising the unique contribution of everyone involved.
Approach It starts with the individual and builds to allow them to become better leaders through self awareness matched to the needs of others and a clear understanding of the job that needs to be done. It provides teams with the context and direction to align team performance whilst giving them the space and support to deliver the business outcomes. It includes:
